Frostboner logo (white)public/press/images/frostboner-logo-white.pngWinter kept as a vow. We record in the dark and leave the tapes cold.
Fabricated Crime logopublic/press/images/fabricated-crime-logo-white.pngThe most evil band in Eastern Europe. The sleaziest producers in America. And a Devil who just wants everyone to stop calling.
It's the mid-1990s. In the frozen backwoods of Latvia, Frostboner have the corpse paint, the spikes and a four-track demo. They don't have talent, a van that starts or any sense of self-preservation.
Across the Atlantic, Bichota & Xuxo Maria are a pair of washed-up American producers who get handed an impossible job: make the worst black metal band on Earth famous before the label pulls their last advance.
In between, Sister Beretta plays the demo on late-night WSIN FM radio, a fortune teller named Scarlet Graves gets paid to read the band's future (it isn't good), and Lazy Satan can't work out why anyone still worships him.
An adult comedy about ambition, bad decisions and the most sincere terrible music ever recorded.
Key art / one-sheetpublic/press/images/key-art-poster.jpgFor fans of This Is Spinal Tap, What We Do in the Shadows, Lords of Chaos and anyone who ever dubbed a demo tape at 3 a.m.
Frostboner logo — full widthpublic/press/images/frostboner-logo-white.pngFrostboner formed in [year] in [town], Latvia, with one goal: to be the most evil band in the world. So far they're mostly known for noise complaints. Their debut demo, [Demo Title], was recorded in a potato cellar on a borrowed boombox, and they've tape-traded it to anyone who'll take it.
Founder, frontman and self-appointed high priest. He writes every lyric and can play every riff, provided it's the same one.
Bassist, second voice and the only one who reads the contracts. Her shriek has shattered three microphones and one engagement.
Drums, the van and blast beats at whatever tempo he's in the mood for. He believes in Satan, mostly as a career move.

Bichota & Xuxo Maria character cardpublic/press/images/char-producers.jpgA sleazy American production duo whose glory days ended with hair metal. One more flop and they're done, so of course they get handed the worst band on the continent. They don't know what black metal is and they can't agree on anything. They'll sell it anyway.
Sister Beretta character cardpublic/press/images/char-sister-beretta.pngA black metal nun who hosts the late-night slot on WSIN FM. She "discovers" the band when their demo shows up in her mailbag, and she plays it on air. Nobody can tell whether it's an act of faith or a punishment.
Lazy Satan character cardpublic/press/images/char-lazy-satan.pngThe Devil is bored. He's had thousands of years of real evil, and now a few Latvians in face paint keep trying to summon him. He doesn't understand why they worship him, and he'd really like them to stop.
Scarlet Graves character cardpublic/press/images/char-scarlet-graves.pngA witch hired by the production company to find out, once and for all, whether this band will make it. The cards don't lie. She bills for overtime anyway.
Post-Soviet winter, pine forests, crumbling rehearsal halls and a potato cellar studio. Part of the series is shot on location in Latvia, so the cold is real.
Strip-mall label offices, late-night radio and a leased convertible. This is the 1990s American music business at its sleaziest.
Magazine coverpublic/press/images/magazine-cover.jpgA real monthly magazine published alongside the series. Each issue features working underground and extreme metal bands, plus in-world coverage of Frostboner, so the magazine and the show keep sending readers and viewers to each other.
Whether you write for metal press, play in a band or are scouting your next series, here's where you fit in.
Pilot script · Series bible · Sizzle reel · Screeners · Hi-res stills · Logo pack (show, band, studio) · Character cards · LP front & back cover art · Magazine back issues
